There is far more wisdom in teams than is usually tapped into. Deep Democracy is an effective method that allows leaders to unlock and harness this potential within their teams. How do you shape this in your role? Do you want to be the leader who makes most of the decisions, or the one who inspires, motivates, and fully believes in the potential of the team?
Laid-back Leadership & Firm Framing offers practical tools, examples, and insights based on the leadership variant of the Lewis Deep Democracy method: CoResolve. Applying CoResolve’s tools and insights leads to better decision-making, stronger collaboration, greater ownership, higher engagement, and more joy at work.
In this book, Stephanie van Rossum shares a fresh perspective on leadership and team dynamics. She challenges old paradigms, such as the idea that leaders always know best. She answers the seven most frequently asked “how” questions raised by leaders in her training and coaching programs. With this hands-on book, leaders can start building safe teams in which even minority voices are included in decision-making.

'Accessible, practical, and surprisingly clear.' | N. Tadema - June 20, 2025
'Excellent and very useful book for managers and change professionals.' | C.A. de Ruiter - October 23, 2023
'There wasn't a book on CoResolve yet, and author Stephanie van Rossum dared to take this step with a practical book.'
'While many leadership books quickly become boring, this one certainly doesn't. QR codes automatically lead you to additional learning materials to master this method. The advantage is that the author writes in a relatively simple and readable style, making the material very clear. She reiterates the basic principles of Deep Democracy in the first chapters, so that even if you're new to this subject, you can easily get started with them yourself.'
